One Night In Miami | Variety FYC Piece
This project was a series of three “For Your Consideration” videos I created with Andrei Haq and Hank Strong of ModOp for our clients Variety and Amazon. I helped create the overall story structure in conjunction with Andrei, as well as edited, colored, and worked with our motion graphics team to create the look of the three pieces.
Regina King, the director of One Night In Miami, was in regular contact with our team, so we worked in conjunction to make something that we all felt represented the film following the director’s intentions. Our FYC campaign was effective, One Night In Miami was nominated for Best Director at the Golden Globes, Best Supporting Actor at the Academy Awards and Golden Globes, and many Writers Guild and Critics’ Choice Awards.
