Pitchfork Classic | Slowdive
This project was pitched and directed by Michael Garber. It was one of the last Pitchfork Classics made, and honestly one of my favorites of the series. This documentary focuses on the pivotal shoe gaze band Slowdive, and specifically deep dives into their classic record Souvlaki Space Station.
For this project, I worked closely with director Michael Garber to assistant edit and color grade the film as well as the trailer. I also created lower thirds and did some After Effects work for the titles, as well as created the VHS dubbing so we could give this documentary the 90s effect it needed to truly encapsulate the era.
